Questions people actually ask
How long does verification take
Brand verification can be automatic within minutes, or take 2-3 business days if it needs manual review; the result is valid for 7 days to publish. For sensitive scopes Google publishes no timeline, and its own documentation acknowledges review can take months. Restricted scopes add an annual cycle. Source
What happens if I publish without verification
Users see a "Google hasn't verified this app" warning screen, and unverified apps that show it are capped at 100 new users. Source
When do I have to re-verify
When you change redirect URLs, JavaScript origins, the product name, or add scopes. Branding changes go through a draft, verify, publish cycle. Source
Does completing this checklist guarantee approval
No. It tracks Google's published requirements so you can prepare the submission. Google reviews and decides.
What does this site store about me
No accounts and no cookies. Your checklist ticks stay in this browser's local storage. Visits and button use are counted anonymously (PostHog, cookieless) to see whether the tool is useful.
A full version of this
This page is a live demand test. If a complete tool (guided checklists, all generators, per-platform guides) would be useful to you, one click says so. It is counted anonymously, nothing else happens.
